MISSION BUILDING

A 12 page printable pdf document containing quick reference charts for mission headers, platoon orders and briefings etc, together with a full  platoon list.

 

ALL SPRITES

An icon graphics guide. The five briefing screens show all the unit icons, arrows and markers I could find, grouped by type. It also contains a very basic (but fun) mission, pitting the player against multiple flights of Hinds. When you can comfortably take them all out with Hellfires, go back and try it with guns. Rockets are good fun too.

 

KELLY'S HEROES  (needs fng's bridgemod.zip)

Blue mission. Assist E Troop 2nd Arm Cavalry in the defense of Phase Line Kelly. Local 'allied' forces have allowed the bridges to fall into enemy hands and the T-80s are pouring across. The longer the bridges stay open, the greater the threat to E Troop.

 

A RIDGE TOO FAR

Blue mission. This is a deep strike against a mobile SRBM site. Stealth and patience are required to penetrate the Soviet defense line, as sketchy intel, heavy Air Defenses and very close terrain makes this a long mission. Low and slow with a ZSU behind every tree..........not for the faint hearted.

 

APACHE DAWN

Blue mission. You're ordered to help clear the ground for a Marine landing. Lead a full Attack Helicopter Battalion in a dawn raid against the enemy coast line,  18 Apaches coming out of the sun; an awesome spectacle.

 

RED MIST

Blue mission. Based on the original Microprose slugathon, RUS3. A massive Soviet assault is descending upon Schleppin and only a skirmish line of the the 82nd Airborne stands in it's way. You definitely need unlimited ammo for this one.
